There are Several references besides these that make it clear that ONLY Yeshua has explicit charge over our lives. Somehow in our selfishness we have forgotten this and the “I” has become more important than Him. We NEED to eliminate the “I” and remember we are NOTHING without Him. Understanding clearly that ANXIETY is, and has always been REDUNDANT. The opportunity He extends for salvation changes the “I” to the proverbial firecracker that destroys anxiety and allows Peace (re.John 14:1 -14:27) This chapter explains eloquently the reason we are not to be anxious, remember Phillipians 4:6-7 especially.

Pride , as described in Jeremiah 9:23-24 is extremely clear. I will simply say, read and understand the concept VERY carefully, especially if you are a TRUE and dedicated Follower of our Savior. Revisit Jer. 9:23 Especially.
In Summary, every time we use the word “I” we need to IMMEDIATELY either audibly correct our verbiage OR quietly acknowledge to the Savior a sincere gratitude for allowing the particular situations and acknowledge, YOU (“I” ) can do NOTHING (re. John 15:5)
